Stephen Page RCA

Stephen Page RCA is a British sculptor renowned for his contemporary bronze animal sculptures, exhibited widely across the UK and internationally. His work has been shown at London’s Mall Galleries with both the Society of Wildlife Artists and the Royal Society of British Artists, as well as at the selected exhibition of the Welsh National Eisteddfod in Pontypridd. His sculptures have also featured in leading private galleries and art fairs throughout the UK, Europe, the United States, and Asia. In 2025, Stephen was elected a full member of the Royal Cambrian Academy, recognising his significant contribution to contemporary British sculpture.

Working primarily in bronze, Stephen Page creates striking animal sculptures that balance simplicity, movement, and character. His practice focuses on capturing the essential spirit of each subject through refined forms, clean lines, and carefully considered surfaces. Inspired by close observation of wildlife, alongside ancient artefacts and historical imagery, his sculptures explore the enduring connection between humans and the animal world across cultures and generations.

Each sculpture begins as a series of observational drawings and maquettes before evolving into highly distilled forms. Cast using the traditional lost-wax bronze process, Stephen’s sculptures are produced in small editions and individually hand-finished. Rich patinas and subtle surface variations ensure that every piece possesses its own unique presence and individuality, making them highly sought after by collectors of contemporary bronze sculpture.

Originally from Dorset, Stephen is a Fine Art graduate who now lives and works in Mid Wales, where he is also a fluent Welsh speaker.
